Duane Maki, B.Sc.

CEO

Duane was elected CEO by Spectrum Resource Group’s Board of Directors in October of 2006. Duane focuses full time on overseeing the operational departments and support services for Spectrum as well as facilitating the project managers in the most effective utilization of human and physical resources. As CEO, Duane oversees all levels of management, formulates policy and direction, acts as a spokesperson, facilitates communication flow and is the centre of corporate knowledge for the company in relation to global company objectives.

Upon graduation from the University of Saskatchewan in 1995 (B.S.P.E.), Duane moved to Prince George full time gaining vast work experiences in primarily forestry projects ranging from large-scale forest health and silviculture activities, including vegetation management (manual and herbicide), to silviculture surveys and reforestation. Duane has also gained extensive experience in industrial vegetation management projects with Oil and Gas companies and actively participates in Invasive Plant Council projects.
