Hugo McLeod, RPF

Peace Region Operations Manager

Hugo started his forestry career in British Columbia planting trees in 1994. Hugo gained expertise in all of Spectrum silviculture and forestry related services, and in 2007, Hugo had taken over Spectrum’s Peace Region operations.

Hugo’s specialties include overseeing both technical and large scale forestry projects, as well as small scale professional forestry consultation. Hugo works closely with woodlot license holders and provides on the ground advice and consultation. Hugo also provides vegetation management program consultation with First Nations and other stakeholders including range and recreation tenure holders.

Hugo brings extensive silviculture and vegetation management experience from his seventeen years of work in the industry. Hugo holds a BA from Bishops University, a Forest Technologies Diploma from Selkirk College, and a BSc from the University of Northern British Columbia and is a Registered Professional Forester, #4695. When Hugo is not working, he enjoys woodworking, squash and golf. He lives in Prince George and Chetwynd with his wife and four children.
